Stuff.co.nz gave the low-down on New Zealand’s best selling cars in 2016 so far. Utes and SUVs dominate the list, taking out eight of the top ten spots.

If you compare the 2016 list to the best selling cars fifteen years ago, you’d find there were a lot more small cars on the list back then.
The movement to bigger vehicles shows the expectations which drivers have about the vehicles has changed a lot. They now expect a smoother driving experience, more space inside for storage and up to date technology and safety features.
