Thinking about your carbon footprint ? or maybe about CO2 emissions ? Maybe you have pressure from clients to bring a clean green approach to the services you provide. Alternatively you really want to do something different from the competition. Well we reckon E Vans are the go !!
This week we have a crack at pricing up an E Van …and finally these are making for a very realistic and affordable fleet option.
New Zealands Cheapest Electric Van ?
LDV have what is pitched as New Zealand’s cheapest electric van the LDV E-Deliver 3 . We have priced the 52.5Kw version which provides a range of up to 400kms from the SWB version which should be ample capacity to get all those round town deliveries done during the day.
With a 40Kw rated motor , peak torque of 255Nm it delivers 0-100km times of 11 seconds which is pretty nifty for a medium class van and that’s plenty of power to keep up with the Jones’s around town. The SWB versions offer 4.9cubic meters of load capacity and the LWB version offers 6.3 Cu/m so not quite in the league of the large van market but plenty all the same.
The fit out and feel on these vans is comparable to their gas powered competitors and the additional benefits around maintenance savings on top of the fuel savings will provide you with real benefits going forward.
Clean Car Discount Makes This Affordable
While no fleet discounts are currently available on these vehicles we do have the current clean car discount of $8,750.00 currently available which helps to reduce the smartlease offer on this vehicle down to a very tidy $799.00 P/Mth based on our current offer.
The competition in this sector is pretty light and apart from used imports primarily made up of the Nissan e-NV200 in 40Kw there isn’t much choice available out there.
